Since 1975, Fred Duncan and Digby Wright left their jobs as representatives of a major photographic manufacturer and opened a camera store in their home town of Burlington, Ontario.
Their goal was to provide the market with the finest camera equipment available. To present this equipment with honesty and integrity and back it up with impeccable service.
The formula worked and the little store grew.
Our Fairview Street store in Burlington, is a large fully stocked location showcasing the best of photographic and digital imaging hardware. It also houses a Fuji Frontier digital lab.
The current management team of Digby Wright, Andy Duncan and Bob Carruthers along with an expert staff have made Duncan and Wright an acknowledged leader in the photographic industry and winner of many local and national awards.
Duncan and Wright has been selected Burlington Camera Store of the year for ten consecutive years by readers of the Burlington Post newspaper. They have also received the Fuji Photo "Digital Dealer of the Year" award for the years 2002 and 2003.

Digby Wright
President and founder of Duncan and Wright Cameras with his original partner Fred Duncan.
Digby Wright began his career in the photo industry in 1970 with Berkey Marketing representing their product lines throughout Ontario and Western Canada. In 1975 Duncan and Wright Cameras opened for business. Then, as now Digby Wright can be found in the store, offering customers expert advice in their selection of photographic equipment.
Andy Duncan
The new "Duncan" in Duncan and Wright and Vice President of the firm.
Andy's passion for photography has enabled him to win several national and international awards. He has won three bronze and two silver medals in the prestigious Nikon International Photo Contest and the Grand Prize in the Toronto Star Photo Contest.
Andy was an early adopter of digital technology and is an expert in hardware and software applications. He also heads up the digital training sessions that are available to all digital camera customers at Duncan and Wright
Bob Carruthers
Partner in Duncan and Wright, Executive-Secretary and responsible for purchasing.
Bob has almost 30 years of experience in the photo industry having joined Duncan and Wright in January of 1981. He is Duncan and Wrights liaison with Foto Source, Canada's largest photographic buying group.
Aside from his duties in purchasing Bob is also involved in marketing and an integral part of the sales team.
